Vintage Leather Coasters

Handmade in London, we have selected a range of vintage leather hides for a rustic, durable product which will wear it's stories proudly and take on lots of character with use!

Cut in a nonagon shape, measuring 9.5 cm across, the coasters are available in tan, brown or black, either as singles or as sets of four.

The vintage leather is 3.5 mm thick and we hand finish the edges with complementary colour dye before waxing the edge to seal the leather and increase the lifespan of these unique drinks mats.

We're delighted to be able to offer monogramming on our coasters, making them a truly personal and thoughtful gift.
Accommodating up to three rows of text, each line fits up to 10 characters.

If you'd like to add a personalisation, simply select the option and whether you'd like silver or gold foil stamp, and add your message in a note at checkout.

Please note that we are only able to offer one message for each set of four.

This is a vintage leather, which is vegetable tanned which means that in addition to being environmentally lower impact, natural marks, tones and textures feature in the grain and finish.

Colour note: leather is a natural material and some variation between hides is to be expected. Please bear in mind that monitor settings may also create variance.

We’d recommend a soft brush or a slightly damp cloth to give it a gentle clean, and most small scratches can be polished out with a clean, soft cloth. If you feel it’s in need of some extra affection, you might like to use a leather conditioner - look out for one containing beeswax and/or natural oils.

Try not to let your coasters get too wet; if it does, allow it to dry naturally - away from heaters - and it might be worth giving it a little condition after. 

There are sealant sprays available, which do help protect your leather goods and can also help protect colour transfer onto light colour fabric.

All of our leather is supplied by tanneries who are audited and certified by the Leather Working Group.

The Leather Working Group is the world’s largest leather sustainability program. LWG has identified environmental best practices in the industry and audits tanneries to assess the environmental performance of leather manufacturing facilities – and certifies those that meet the standards.

Everything here is handmade in London by a member of our small team, which means that orders can take up to 5 working days to complete - especially one off custom orders and those with personalisation.
