Jazz Trouser Braces

Handmade in London, these Jazz trouser braces are crafted from durable 35mm wide elastic printed with a pattern of Jazz music themed images in black and white.

Unique and highly popular our Jazz trouser suspenders are adjustable between 76 cm - 120 cm (30” - 47”), and attach with silver finish clips.

A fun added detail, these braces are constructed from three pieces of elastic in a Y- back formation, and connected by a stitched leather kite.

The retro print elastic we use for our suspenders is sourced from renowned Belgian weavers, the silver tone slides and clips are from a metal fittings specialist in Germany.

To keep your braces in top condition and ensure they last as long as possible, regular maintenance is key. Here's a quick guide on how to care for them:

Braces should be cleaned occasionally, especially if worn in dusty environments or after heavy perspiration. Simply wipe them down with a damp cloth and mild soap, being careful not to stretch the elastic. Rinse the cloth frequently and wipe again with a clean, water-only cloth to remove soap residue. After cleaning, gently pat dry and allow the braces to air dry completely.

Braces should never be machine washed. The elastic will lose its stretch, clips may rust, and the leather could discolour. Avoid tumble drying as well.

For minor stains, start by dabbing the area with a slightly damp cloth (water only), taking care not to oversaturate the elastic. For tougher stains, like grease, use a mild detergent or a small amount of dish soap. As a last resort, you can try baking soda, but be cautious as it could damage the elastic. Always pat dry after cleaning to prevent any lingering moisture from affecting the braces.
