Kryten 1" Tan Leather Belt
This bold and unique new belt with gold buckle and matching tip is one of our personal favourites. It's sharp edges inspired by its namesake character on Red Dwarf, you can add this 1" or 25mm wide slim leather belt to any outfit to give it more of a futuristic feel. It may be cold outside but your belt will really help the atmosphere.
More eccentric style belt buckles have become a fashion staple in the modern wardrobe, and this modern styled accessory is no exception. It is incredibly versatile, either dressed up or down. The finish of the italian made buckle and matching tip is a vintage style brushed gold tone that will really pop.
To match the buckle we wanted a leather that shared its smooth finish and firm nature. That led us to a Italian vegetable tanned leather with exquisite properties.
The leather is vegetable tanned, which means it is produced in the most natural way possible. This beautifully preserves the organic past life of the material, so occasional growth marks or surface imperfections are occasionally visible.
The Kryten belt is crafted by our own fair hands in our London workshop, the leather belt measures 1 inch/2.5 cm wide.
To choose your perfect size, see our size guide here.

To figure out your perfect fit measure a well fitting belt from the place at which the buckle is attached to the most used hole.
Alternatively, if you do have a tape measure to hand, measure over your trousers, exactly as you would wear the belt - which allows for the added bulk of the trousers.
The leather we use for our classic belts is low maintenance and easy to care for. Most small scratches can be polished out with a clean, soft cloth.
If you feel it’s in need of some extra affection, you might like to use a leather conditioner. Anything with beeswax or natural oils is best. Feel free to get in touch for our own recommendation.
We do not recommend using a coloured conditioner, as there is a high risk of colour transfer onto clothes. A neutral one will rejuvenate the colour slightly without the risk of damage.
The buckles we use for our classic belts are Brass or Zamak which shines up well with typical metal polishes. Always test the polish in an inconspicuous place first.
All of our leather is supplied by tanneries who are audited and certified by the Leather Working Group.
The Leather Working Group is the world’s largest leather sustainability program. LWG has identified environmental best practices in the industry and audits tanneries to assess the environmental performance of leather manufacturing facilities – and certifies those that meet the standards.
The leather used for our Belts is supplied by a Tuscan tannery that has a Silver Rating from the LWG, as well as being a member of The Genuine Italian Vegetable Tanned Leather Consortium.
The Consortium’s mission is to safeguard the centuries-old tradition of vegetable tanning and to guarantee the quality of the raw material and workmanship. The Consortium guarantees manufacturing processes compatible with the ecosystem and not harmful to people.
