35 mm Stretch Navy & Red
Our handmade 35 mm ( 1 3/8") wide navy and red elastic belt.
Dark navy with a red stripe running the length, the heavy duty stretch webbing is complemented with brown leather tabs and an antique gold finish buckle.
To figure out your perfect fit, measure a well fitting belt from the place at which the buckle is attached to the most used hole.
Alternatively, if you do have a tape measure to hand, measure over your trousers, exactly as you would wear the belt - which allows for the added bulk of the trousers.
The leather we use for our classic belts is low maintenance and easy to care for. Most small scratches can be polished out with a clean, soft cloth.
If you feel it’s in need of some extra affection, you might like to use a leather conditioner. Anything with beeswax or natural oils is best. Feel free to get in touch for our own recommendation.
We do not recommend using a coloured conditioner, as there is a high risk of colour transfer onto clothes. A neutral one will rejuvenate the colour slightly without the risk of damage.
The buckles we use for our classic belts are Brass or Zamak which shines up well with typical metal polishes. Always test the polish in an inconspicuous place first.
All of our leather is supplied by tanneries who are audited and certified by the Leather Working Group.
The Leather Working Group is the world’s largest leather sustainability program. LWG has identified environmental best practices in the industry and audits tanneries to assess the environmental performance of leather manufacturing facilities – and certifies those that meet the standards.
The leather used for our Belts is supplied by a Tuscan tannery that has a Silver Rating from the LWG, as well as being a member of The Genuine Italian Vegetable Tanned Leather Consortium.
The Consortium’s mission is to safeguard the centuries-old tradition of vegetable tanning and to guarantee the quality of the raw material and workmanship. The Consortium guarantees manufacturing processes compatible with the ecosystem and not harmful to people.
Everything here is handmade in London by a member of our small team, which means that orders can take up to 5 working days to complete - especially one off custom orders and those with personalisation.

Navy and Red belt several weeks ago and was so pleased with it I recently purchased a second one .
It’s excellent and so comfortable when bending as it stretches without digging in to my waistline .

Well made belt - certainly made to last. Been wearing the belt for several days and the leather is starting to become flexible. Inside of the belt is a solid colour so you can’t put it on inside out. Elasticity of the belt is firm but easy to use/ stretch. This is a pretty rugged piece of kit. Well worth the money.

I have just bought my third Village Leather belt. They are very well made, very smart, and excellent value. I particularly like the elasticated webbing belt, as the flexibility makes it very comfortable.
I have used your elasticated belts for 10 years. Have you thought about making the buckle lighter? Unless belt is removed from trousers they are pulled out of shape when hanging.
