We selected a 3.5mm thick Italian vegetable tanned leather for for a lower impact leather with a truly unique finish. It is designed to wear beautifully as it's used, creating a unique piece alongside you. Vegetable tanning preserves and showcases the natural grain and surface, meaning each belt comes out subtly different from the last. This belt is completed with our all time favourite silvered coloured Westend buckle, made from solid brass.
For your perfect fit, measure a well fitting belt to the most used hole, and select a size covering your measurement. For more sizing information, see our size guide here.
You can also pick up an extra buckle here letting you swap out styles with ease using the press studs. If you'd prefer a different buckle instead, just leave a note in the checkout and we'll switch it for you.

To figure out your perfect fit measure a well fitting belt from the place at which the buckle is attached to the most used hole.
Alternatively, if you do have a tape measure to hand, measure over your trousers, exactly as you would wear the belt - which allows for the added bulk of the trousers.
The leather we use for our classic belts is low maintenance and easy to care for. Most small scratches can be polished out with a clean, soft cloth.
If you feel it’s in need of some extra affection, you might like to use a leather conditioner. Anything with beeswax or natural oils is best. Feel free to get in touch for our own recommendation.
We do not recommend using a coloured conditioner, as there is a high risk of colour transfer onto clothes. A neutral one will rejuvenate the colour slightly without the risk of damage.
The buckles we use for our classic belts are Brass or Zamak which shines up well with typical metal polishes. Always test the polish in an inconspicuous place first.
All of our leather is supplied by tanneries who are audited and certified by the Leather Working Group.
The Leather Working Group is the world’s largest leather sustainability program. LWG has identified environmental best practices in the industry and audits tanneries to assess the environmental performance of leather manufacturing facilities – and certifies those that meet the standards.
The leather used for our Belts is supplied by a Tuscan tannery that has a Silver Rating from the LWG, as well as being a member of The Genuine Italian Vegetable Tanned Leather Consortium.
The Consortium’s mission is to safeguard the centuries-old tradition of vegetable tanning and to guarantee the quality of the raw material and workmanship. The Consortium guarantees manufacturing processes compatible with the ecosystem and not harmful to people.
