Description
An elegant version of the traditional western style belt, cut from smooth black leather, and completed with a matte silver buckle, metal loop and tip set.
Always handmade in London, this slim black leather belt is an absolute favourite; Italian made hardware with well balanced components in brushed vintage style finish, and combined with the narrow 1" (25 mm) width, it makes for a truly versatile understated statement!
The leather is vegetable tanned, which means it is produced in the most natural way possible.
This beautifully preserves the organic past life of the material, so occasional growth marks or surface imperfections are occasionally visible.

Colour note: leather is a natural material and some variation between hides is to be expected. Please bear in mind that monitor settings may also create variance.
Sustainability
All of our leather is supplied by tanneries who are audited and certified by the Leather Working Group.
The Leather Working Group is the world’s largest leather sustainability program. LWG has identified environmental best practices in the industry and audits tanneries to assess the environmental performance of leather manufacturing facilities – and certifies those that meet the standards.
The leather used for our Belts is supplied by a Tuscan tannery that has a Silver Rating from the LWG, as well as being a member of The Genuine Italian Vegetable Tanned Leather Consortium.
The Consortium’s mission is to safeguard the centuries-old tradition of vegetable tanning and to guarantee the quality of the raw material and workmanship. The Consortium guarantees manufacturing processes compatible with the ecosystem and not harmful to people.
25 year warranty
We’re so confident in our Classic Belts that we offer a 25 year warranty to customers who purchase one. The Classic Belts are made from hand picked Italian vegetable tanned leather - renowned for its thickness, supple nature and superb quality. Paired with top notch buckles and poppers these belts are built to last.
That’s why, if a component falls short of this high standard we’ll be happy to perform necessary repairs on your belt.
To be eligible for our 25 year warranty your belt should be purchased from our Classic Belt collection.
Delivery & Returns
Everything here is handmade in London by a member of our small team, which means that orders can take up to 5 working days to complete - especially one off custom orders and those with personalisation.
Shipping is free to the UK. We’re here Monday to Friday and we post orders as soon as they’re ready, using Royal Mail Tracked 48. UK customers have the option of Next Day delivery for an additional fee.
Delivery to our International customers will typically take a week to 10 days, but may be up to two weeks. Any custom fees and duties that apply to items sent outside of the UK will be the responsibility of the customer.
You’ll receive an email notification as soon as your order is dispatched, which will have tracking info and our contact details.
If for any reason you’d like to return or exchange your purchase, please post the item back to us, enclosing our Returns Form. The item must be in an unused condition and packaged securely, we recommend using a tracked service as we can’t be responsible for items lost in the mail. We will process your refund/exchange within 2-3 working days.
We are unable to cover return postage for International orders, so unfortunately for our International customers, you would be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs, and any re-delivery charges for exchanges.
You have 30 calendar days to return an item from the date you received it. We cannot offer returns or exchanges on bespoke or personalised products.

So beautifully made, and such high quality. Perfect everyday belt for a minimalist wardrobe with just the right amount of detail to stand out. I feel like I will have this belt forever. For reference my I wear this at my natural waist which is 28", and the xs fits perfect with plenty of extra holes in each direction if my measurements change. Shipping was shockingly fast to CA.
Love the belt. But it needs a moveable leather loop to tidy the belt. Currently using the loop from my brown belt.

I was so happy with this belt - simple classic design, really well made and beautiful leather. Such great value and price compared to high street brands. Minimal non plastic packaging as well. I would highly recommend Village Leathers.
Belt is clearly well made and had attention to detail. However, the metal tip is only on one side held by what looks like a rivet. I would thought the metal tip would have been an insert or wrapped around the leather. Time will tell how long the tip lasts. Other than that I'm willing to order another in a different color. Great product.

The belt received looks nothing like the belt image on the website. The seller claims a “subtle” variation, however the belt looks completely different. Be aware that the dyed belts may have a very grainy look which looks patchy and odd. I cannot wear the belt, it looks awful. Seller insists I must pay return postage even though the website images are misleading.
Unfortunately size XS is still too big for my partner, but outstanding quality product, great finish and detail. Excellent customer service (even offered free shortening service), fast delivery, nicely packaged.

Originally motivated by the fact that I thrifted some trousers with belt loops too skinny for any belt wider than 1", and knowing how good black Western belts with metal tips look, I set out to find a good one. And for such a low price, with good leather and a 25 year guarantee, this can't be beat. It's perfect with my black jeans, or just adding that touch of cowboy flair to an outfit, and the sizing works just fine for me - no need to drill new holes just yet.
