Description
Making use of beautifully natural grain leather, these black leather crossbody bags are a new favourite.
An ideal size for everyday carry, they’re detailed with a turned edge and chunky stitch inspired by saddlebag style satchels.
We loved the turned edge of our Belle range and wanted to try it with the softer more rustic leather we use for our Turnlocks.
Measuring 22 cm across, with a height of 17.5 and a depth of 5.5 cm, the straps are cut from highly durable belt leather in a complementary shade, and adjust between 128 - 137 cm.
Completed with hardwearing silver finish fittings, and securing with a strong turn lock closure these handy little black leather satchels include a flat internal pocket with 15 cm zip opening.
Always handmade in London using vegetable tanned leather from Italy, selected for it's unique and characterful finish.

Colour note: leather is a natural material and some variation between hides is to be expected. Please bear in mind that monitor settings may also create variance.
Care
The vegetable tanned leather is free of any heavy finishes or top coats, so may transfer colour onto light clothing at first, until a natural patina is developed.
We’d recommend a soft brush or a slightly damp cloth to give it a gentle clean, and most small scratches can be polished out with a clean, soft cloth. If you feel it’s in need of some extra affection, you might like to use a leather conditioner - look out for one containing beeswax and/or natural oils. Although be mindful of potential oil transfer.
Try not to let your new leather accessory get wet; if it does, allow it to dry naturally - away from heaters - and it might be worth giving it a little condition after.
There is a risk of colour transfer should it get wet but being vegetable tanned, any transfer should come out with normal laundry detergent.
Sustainability
All of our leather is supplied by tanneries who are audited and certified by the Leather Working Group.
The Leather Working Group is the world’s largest leather sustainability program. LWG has identified environmental best practices in the industry and audits tanneries to assess the environmental performance of leather manufacturing facilities – and certifies those that meet the standards.
The leather used for our Belts is supplied by a Tuscan tannery that has a Silver Rating from the LWG, as well as being a member of The Genuine Italian Vegetable Tanned Leather Consortium.
The Consortium’s mission is to safeguard the centuries-old tradition of vegetable tanning and to guarantee the quality of the raw material and workmanship. The Consortium guarantees manufacturing processes compatible with the ecosystem and not harmful to people.
Delivery & Returns
Everything here is handmade in London by a member of our small team, which means that orders can take up to 5 working days to complete - especially one off custom orders and those with personalisation.
Shipping is free to the UK. We’re here Monday to Friday and we post orders as soon as they’re ready, using Royal Mail Tracked 48. UK customers have the option of Next Day delivery for an additional fee.
Delivery to our International customers will typically take a week to 10 days, but may be up to two weeks. Any custom fees and duties that apply to items sent outside of the UK will be the responsibility of the customer.
You’ll receive an email notification as soon as your order is dispatched, which will have tracking info and our contact details.
If for any reason you’d like to return or exchange your purchase, please post the item back to us, enclosing our Returns Form. The item must be in an unused condition and packaged securely, we recommend using a tracked service as we can’t be responsible for items lost in the mail. We will process your refund/exchange within 2-3 working days.
We are unable to cover return postage for International orders, so unfortunately for our International customers, you would be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs, and any re-delivery charges for exchanges.
You have 30 calendar days to return an item from the date you received it. We cannot offer returns or exchanges on bespoke or personalised products.
