Hand-tooled brown leather. A wider, statement belt.
A wider belt with quiet detail. We heat-emboss — "tool" — a flowing rose design into the leather, so the pattern is part of the hide rather than printed on.
Cut at 1¾" (45 mm) for a slightly broader profile that suits heavier jeans and workwear, from 3.5 mm vegetable-tanned Italian leather, handmade in our London workshop. Choose from our range of nickel-free, UK- and Italian-sourced buckles — the press-stud fixing makes swapping simple.
Foil-stamped inside with our 25-year warranty snip — built to gain character for decades.
Colour note: leather is a natural material and some variation between hides is to be expected. Please bear in mind that monitor settings may also create variance.
To figure out your perfect fit, measure a well fitting belt from the place at which the buckle is attached to the most used hole.
Alternatively, if you do have a tape measure to hand, measure over your trousers, exactly as you would wear the belt - which allows for the added bulk of the trousers.
A full grain, natural finish, this leather's charm comes as it is used, aged, and gathers memories.
The leather we use for our classic belts is low maintenance and easy to care for. Most small scratches can be polished out with a clean, soft cloth.
Try not to let your new leather accessory get wet; if it does, allow it to dry naturally - away from heaters - and it might be worth giving it a little condition after.
If you feel it’s in need of some extra affection, you might like to use a leather conditioner. Anything with beeswax or natural oils is best. Feel free to get in touch for our own recommendation.
We do not recommend using a coloured conditioner, as there is a high risk of colour transfer onto clothes. A neutral one will rejuvenate the colour slightly without the risk of damage.
The buckles we use for our classic belts are Brass or Zamak which shines up well with typical metal polishes. Always test the polish in an inconspicuous place first.
All of our leather is supplied by tanneries who are audited and certified by the Leather Working Group.
The Leather Working Group is the world’s largest leather sustainability program. LWG has identified environmental best practices in the industry and audits tanneries to assess the environmental performance of leather manufacturing facilities – and certifies those that meet the standards.
The leather used for our Belts is supplied by a Tuscan tannery that has a Silver Rating from the LWG, as well as being a member of The Genuine Italian Vegetable Tanned Leather Consortium.
The Consortium’s mission is to safeguard the centuries-old tradition of vegetable tanning and to guarantee the quality of the raw material and workmanship. The Consortium guarantees manufacturing processes compatible with the ecosystem and not harmful to people.

I ordered the Brown Rose Embossed belt.
PROS:

CONS:
- Item did not match the photo in color. MUCH DARKER! Photo shows a warm chestnut brown, what arrived was a cool DARK brown almost black. Bummer because you can hardly make out the embossed roses. Vendor said leather can very, yes I understand I’ve worked with leather and hides can vary. However, the vendor should either update their photos to accurately represent the product, or do better at selecting hides that match the color.
- Buckle was tarnished. Had to polish it, but still has a mark.
- Asked for a refund. Was denied. Vendor did not even offer an exchange.
- Waste of $60

Purchased a belt 5 years ago on a trip to London. Great belt that I still use. The thickness and quality of the leather are my favorite aspects of your products. The other bonuses that put them even further over the line compared to other brands is the variability of wide belts (e.g.,1 3/4 inches) and the selection of buckles (some of which are not typical of what is found elsewhere). The tooled design in the new belt you sent is great and the new belt is of the same quality as the old one I’ve had for years. Also love the dark brown color. Thanks for making such a great product!

I'd love it even more if you had a selection of less shiny more vintage looking buckles, but that isn't a criticism, just personal taste. This belt is made to last a lifetime and will just get even more beautiful as it ages. I love the rose embossing so much.
